Join the Valley Gardeners Club for a fun-filled day exploring some of Nova Scotia's most unique gardening destinations on the beautiful South Shore!

Our adventure includes a visit to Oceanview Home & Garden, one of the Maritimes' largest garden centres, followed by a private guided tour of the Exotic Fruit Nursery near Lunenburg. Discover an incredible collection of unusual fruit trees and edible plants, including figs, paw paws, persimmons, hardy citrus, and more, while learning from the owners themselves.

We'll also enjoy two hours of free time in picturesque Mahone Bay, where participants can stroll the waterfront, browse local shops, and enjoy lunch at one of the town's cafés or restaurants—or bring a picnic to enjoy by the water.

• Departure: 9:00 am from the New Minas Big Stop

• Return: Approximately 4:30 pm

• Cost: $50 per person

• Includes transportation and guided tour

Guests are welcome—participants do not need to be Valley Gardeners Club members to attend.
